Takeda Shrine is a fairly new shrine, established and built in the early 1900s, but it was built on the ruins of 16th century samurai hero Takeda Shingen's fortified residence, which is why it boasts a semi-moat. There are also some interesting looking ruins behind the shrine, and a museum containing swords and armor and other artifacts related to Takeda Shingen. Trees and a large area of grass make the shrine grounds green and attractive in summer.

You will probably hear a rooster crowing as you walk around the shrine, and here it is!

Put your ear to the bamboo tube, and you will hear 'water music'
