We've all been to Kappabashi cooking street, or if not, it's probably on your list. But if you're into fitting out your home, then you should visit Meguro's interior shops. There's a street filled with design stores, selling goodies to fill your house with. As a tourist you probably won't buy a couch or table, but it is just very interesting to see what kind of styles they like here, and who knows what you'll happen across? Go to Meguro station and head west towards Daien-ji Temple, and the shopping street starts from there.

With these lights you can create some good atmosphere in your house

It doesn't matter if it's old or new, it just looks awesome

Brass colors behind this window

If you cannot make a choice, just have a combination of more than one

Even though this street offers mostly modern furniture, tradition in Japan is never lacking

Beside the big window, I could live here

Decorated stairs

Chinese pottery

Chinese style

One of the many interior shops in Meguro

You find all kind of styles, but modern is one you find a lot

Some Japanese cottage style

In Japan there's always a second floor

Someone tries to sell fake furniture

Some great robust style
