Although Utsukushii-no-mori (it means 'beautiful forest') is famous for azaleas in spring, it is worth visiting at other times of the year. In summer a fairly easy climb up the hill will take you past lush green grass where lilies and many other flowers grow wild. There is a picture frame photo spot with mountains in the background, and a store selling souvenirs, noodles, and ice cream.
