The Flower Box Exhibition 2020

Celebrating 20 years of the Nicolai Bergmann flower box

Venue: Roppongi Hills When: Nov 20th - Nov 30th 2020
While this event is confirmed, coronavirus measures may result in sudden cancellation, postponement or changes to the event format (eg online only). While we do our best to keep our listings updated, please check the official event website for the latest info.

Roppongi Hills is hosting a flower box exhibition showcasing a series of flower boxes. The exhibit commemorates the 20th anniversary of the original Nicolai Bergmann’s flower box creation and will be directed by Nicolai Bergmann himself. This is a traveling exhibition that is starting in Japan and will move on to several other countries. As the Omotesando Hills exhibition was cancelled and the Dazaifu Tenmangu and Kiyomizu Dera exhibitions were postponed, this will be the first opportunity to see this celebration of a 20 year milestone for the flower box. The Flower Box Exhibition will kick off in Japan and continue overseas.

The event is being held from Friday November 20th to Monday November 30th in the Sky Gallery, Tokyo City View, in Roppongi Hills. The exhibition requires an additional fee of ¥800 per person on top of the entry fee into Tokyo City View, which costs ¥1800 per adult and ¥600 for children.

Getting there

By train: Tokyo City View is a three minute walk from Tokyo Metro Hibiya line's Roppongi station Exit 1C.

By car: the Sky Gallery is about a ten minute drive from the Metropolitan Expressway Shibuya exit or fifteen minutes drive from the Gaien exit.
