Space Odyssey of 13.8 Billion Light-years 2020-2021

A special exhibition at the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum

When
Nov 21st 2020 - Jan 24th 2021

A special exhibition taking place at the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum looks into astrophotography captured by observation satellites, planetary explorers, and space telescopes. There will be a specific focus on images captured courtesy of NASA equipment.

The event will provide glimpses into nebulas and star clusters within our own solar system, along with the galaxies and galactic clusters beyond it. The exhibition also coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Hubble Space Telescope, which was used to take some of the images that will be featured in this event.

Adult admission to the event is priced at 1000 yen.

Getting there

The Tokyo Photographic Art Museum is located around 7 minutes on foot from the East Exit of the JR Ebisu Station, served by the Yamanote Line, the Shonan-Shinjuku Line, and the Saikyo Line. For those planning to drive, there is no dedicated parking lot - it is advised to park in the nearby paid Yebisu Garden Place lot (details can be found here).
