Sanrio Puroland and the newly opened Sanrio Town are the saccharine sweet, cotton candy pink wonderlands that are home to Hello Kitty and all of her friends. This indoor theme park is essentially a massive gift shop featuring a few children's rides and attractions. "Believe" is a highlight with its fantastical lights, dancers, acrobats and of course, Hello Kitty, Dear Daniel and their collective of Sanrio friends captivating the audience in this live stage show. Children and adults who grew up collecting Sanrio merchandise will have the most fun at Puroland. It's worth mentioning, however, that the food is disappointing and visitors are better off eating at any of the nearby establishments.
Sanrio Puroland open daily from 9:45am to 6pm. The theme park is a 5-minute walk from Tama Center Station.
