Visiting the big city for the first time
It's fun to go for a leisurely walk around Tokyo since so many locations within the metropolitan area can easily be reached by a short train ride.
Before traveling for Tokyo, I read a lot about the public transportation system and had some concern about getting lost and confused by the multiple train lines and rail networks criss-crossing the metropoli, as well as not being able to ready kanji. After arriving in the city, I realised how easy it actually was to get around.
Signs at all train stations are written in Japanese and English, making it really easy to get around. On this day I decided to visit The National Art Center Tokyo, Asakusa and Akihabara.
