Café Asan is my little secret hideout in Tokyo. There is free wifi, power, and ipads for loan. Cafe Asan serves affordable lunch sets under 1000 yen that come with free-flow drinks and salad. Sit on the comfortable hammocks while you work or help yourself to the shelves of manga and magazines. For dessert, try their enormous soufflé, which is great for sharing. Located in the middle of the art space of 2K540, Café Asan is most certainly the best work café in town or simply a cosy hideout from the busy city life. It's walkable from Akihabara or Nakaokachimachi station. Open from 11 am – 7 pm and closed on Wednesdays.

The entrance to cafe Asan from the corridor of 2K540.
The cafe has free wifi, power sockets and ipad for loan. A perfect hideout for just having some me time, or an afternoon of work.
An interesting take on seafood and rice that is absolutely delicious!
Their large souffle cakes are great for sharing!
Cafe Asan's interior is clean but not overly sleek, which kind of resembles a well-kept home.
The cafe dressed up for the Christmas season.
Cafe Asan is housed inside the art space of 2K540, which is also an art space worthy of checking out.
Pasta with mushroom and bacon set lunch, inclusive of free flow salad and drinks.
The entrance from the outside of 2K540 into the cosy warm hideout of Cafe Asan.
