Kinchakuda is famous for red spider lily. Located close to Chichibu in Saitama, it's easy to reach by the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. The best time for viewing is usually the end of September. Entering the field is an oceanic feeling of red color inside a forest. Walking on small trails makes it easy to go around, and because of the size it never feels very crowded. Also don't miss the great vegetarian cafe Alishan next to it!

Some call these flowers lycoris. Kinchakuda is in some net list of 30 reasons to visit Japan (but what I'd like to call 30 most beautiful places in Japan.
