Osagoe Folk Museum Village is one of my favorite places to visit in Fukui, because it's beautiful, and always quiet and deserted. On a rainy day in early March, I was looking for solace and decided to visit here once again. As I expected, no one was there and I could enjoy some long awaited tranquility in one of the beautiful old thatched roof houses in the village. I was secretly hoping to see some plum blossoms here. Unfortunately they were still in the bud stage, waiting to bloom. Thatched roofs, trees and flowers were all drenched in cold rain, but to me they seemed to be enjoying the silent rain falling from the sky.
