The other day I visited Osagoe Folk Village in my neighborhood for the first time. When I arrived, the first thing I saw was not the village, but this Fukui City Culture Park next to the village. It was quite spacious and surrounded by gorgeous autumn leaves. But surprisingly, almost nobody was there! Every time I see spacious, beautifully landscaped parks or gardens like this in Fukui, I find just a few visitors, and I say to myself, "Hey, Fukui is worth paying residential tax, because you can enjoy vast spaces all to yourself for free!" Personally, I think everybody who needs 'space' should move to Fukui. But then, if everybody does I'll lose the privilege of monopolizing the space all to myself...well, I'll give you a chance anyway, but keep it a secret!
