Oura Beach on Hakatajima Island

Oura Beach is more than a kilometer of sandy beach

All sorts of boats large and small sail past the beach

In spring, cherry trees blossom along the sea front

There's no shade on the beach, but there is a little beach house next to the car park

The view from the beach house is idyllic if next to nothingness is your thing. On clear days, you can see all the way to Mt. Ishizuchi

The water of the Seto Inland Sea is clean and blue

Oura Beach is home to some hardy little flowers
