For a limited time this autumn, the TeamLab digital art collective will be making their way to the shores of Lake Yamanaka in Yamanashi Prefecture. The event will showcase a couple of the group's most popular exhibits: the Autonomous Resonating Life installation, and the Sketch Aquarium.
The Autonomous Resonating Life installation includes a variety of egg-shaped structures which change color when touched or when moved by the wind. The Sketch Aquarium also involves an interactive element – visitors draw their own sea creature which is scanned and projected onto a wall, breathing life into their artistic creations.
The event takes place at the Asahigaoka Lakeside Park, and adult admission (counted as anyone elementary-aged or above) is priced at ¥500. Children below elementary age receive free admission.
