Les Rêves Salon de Thé

Enjoy afternoon tea and amazing pastries

In La Ville de Gaspard et Lisa, next to the entrance of Fuji-Q Highland Park, you will find Les Rêves Salon de Thé. The French style café opened in 2015. Service starts at 11 in the morning (10 o’clock on weekends and public holidays).

The authentic atmosphere is based on the design of a French theater with a painted ceiling, chandeliers and noble seat covers on the chairs and sofas. The interior is terraced and has round tables and comfortable round seating areas. From almost all seats in the café you can enjoy a splendid view of Mount Fuji through the big glass front while you’re having your afternoon tea and one or two (or a whole étagère full of) delicious cookies and pastries. Each one is better than the previous, and the café even has a small take-out shop, so you can take some pastries with you for your family and friends. When the weather allows, you can also sit outside next to a big fountain and a small version of the Eiffel Tower.

The afternoon tea set is ¥2500 for one person, and they also offer a selection of light meals, such as baguettes and sandwiches, starting at ¥1200. The meals come with a small salad and soup. Drinks are about ¥400 and you should definitely try the confiture drink! For take-out, there are gift sets containing a small tin with English afternoon tea, some candies and a jam jar. Not only are they delicious, but they’re beautifully wrapped as well.

The café's location in La Ville de Gaspard et Lisa invites you to walk around and enjoy the other attractions before or after your tea. The village includes an old-style merry-go-round, a museum, and a lovely shop where you can buy Lisa and Gaspard plush toys, tea services and other kitchen items featuring the two characters. The whole village offers nice photo spots, such as a park bank on which you can sit in between the characters or a swing. Going in and strolling around is free!
