Although a lot of people associate Japan with foods like sushi and noodle dishes like ramen, meat-based eats are also incredibly popular. Whether it's yakiniku, shabu shabu, or even steamed buns like nikuman, carnivores can certainly get their fill of delicious dishes here.
The All Meat Festival in Wakayama serves as a celebration of this, and over a million attendees turned out at last year's event. Around 60 stalls will be at the event serving up all manner of tasty eats, along with stage performances, wine tasting, and even a kids play area.
If you plan to attend, please note that the hours differ slightly from weekdays to weekends. On weekdays the festival operates from 12pm until 9pm, but on weekends that extends to 10am until 9pm.
