Yanaka Ginza is a famous traditional shopping street located in Taito-ku in Tokyo. On the weekends the streets are filled with tourists from all over Japan and quite a few from abroad. The shop keepers and people are friendly and welcome visitors form overseas to experience a bit of true Japanese service and hospitality. The street is filled with food vendors and specialty shops. Being a tourist spot and a local neighborhood at the same time the prices can't be beat. A great place to spend an afternoon, get a bite and pick up some souvenirs for the folks back home.
