Turkey has a rich and diverse culture, and an annual event at Tokyo's Yoyogi Park celebrates this. The two-day Turkey Festival will showcase everything from Turkish food and art to music and dance, and there will be various hands-on workshops for visitors to learn more about some of the country's longstanding traditions.
When it comes to the food, there will be favorites on offer like Turkish ice cream and kebabs, so bring along some yen if you plan to grab a bite to eat. There will even be booths selling Turkish handicrafts such as mosaic lamps, traditional plates, and accessories if you'd like to pick up a gift for yourself or for a loved one.
Admission to the festival is free of charge.
