Snoopy Museum Tokyo in Machida

Grandberry Park is home to the new and improved Snoopy Museum

Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang have made their home at Grandberry Park in Machida, Tokyo. Welcome to the only Charles M. Schultz museum outside of Santa Rosa, California. Previously located in Roppongi for only two years, the new museum is twice the size of its Roppongi predecessor. Featuring multi-dimensional exhibitions of original and reproduced comic strips, vintage goods, and animation clips, fans of the lovable beagle are sure to be thrilled.

Snoopy’s Exhibition Gallery

Take a walk through the exhibition gallery. In the permanent gallery, stroll through Charles M. Schultz’s history and find out how Snoopy, Woodstock, and Charlie Brown came to be. See the early days of the comic strip in photographs, videos, reproductions, and vintage goods. Fans will appreciate the multi-screen theater where a new and original Snoopy animation takes place. And be sure to visit the special exhibitions on display; they change twice a year so you can enjoy something new every visit.

Peanuts is so popular here in Japan with young and old alike. Kids love Peanuts stationery, bags and trinkets. I kind of identify with Woodstock when I speak English and my friends and family who understand me respond in Japanese.
