Platinum Fish Manseibashi

Dine while trains rush by on both sides

For a one-of-a-kind dining experience, check out Platinum Fish Restaurant's branch at mAAch ecute Manseibashi. The restaurant sits right where the old platform used to be. The platform has been transformed into a glass-walled space where you can enjoy maximum natural lighting and watch trains pass by very very close on both sides. Manseibashi Station opened in 1912 and closed in 1943. The original stairs from 1912 and even the wall stains have been preserved. We went on a Tuesday for lunch and we had the whole extension (glass-walled but open roof) to ourselves, making our date truly memorable. The restaurant's theme is "food as a journey." Platinum Fish prides itself in visiting the places where they source their ingredients. Hopefully, as guests enjoy the thoughtfully prepared dishes, and watch the trains go by as they eat, their dining experience feels like a travel experience as well.

Getting there

The mAAch ecute Kanda Manseibashi complex is 2 minutes away from Kanda Station (Exit 6) on the Ginza Line, 3 minutes away from Shin-ochanomizu Station (Exit A3) on the Chiyoda Line, and 3 minutes away from Azajicho Station (Exit A3) on the Marunouchi Line.
