Holding the title of the largest park in the Tokyo area, Showa Kinen Park is filled with an array of beauty to enjoy no matter the season you visit in. The autumn months here are particularly beautiful, with one of the highlights being almost 100 ginkgo trees lined along a 300 meter stretch known as ginkgo avenue.
To celebrate all things fall, the park is hosting an autumn light up event where visitors can appreciate the changing colors of the ginkgos, maples, and more after dark. The ginkgo avenue can be viewed simply by paying the regular park admission fee, but part of the illumination takes part at the Japanese garden and requires an additional ticket. Ticketing information can be found on the official event website.
