Nezu Jinja

A carpet of color in April
Featured
The azaleas in Nezu Shrine are at their best in mid-April. I walked along a path on a gentle hill with 100 varieties and 3000 azaleas bushes. Many people come to enjoy the flowers during this season, but it is said that once is not enough. If you want to see all the flowers here, you need to come back a few times in April, because of the timing of each flower. These azaleas are nicely trimmed and rounded. From a distance, they look like a large carpet on the hill. After it rains, the sweet fragrance of the azalea will put you into a dream-like state!
