National Parks of Japan 2020

Stories to Experience

When
Aug 25th - Nov 29th 2020

There's no doubt that Japan has a host of incredible natural landscapes to enjoy, and the various national parks across the country are blessed with some of the best. Japan's national parks started back in 1934 with Setonaikai, Unzen, and Kirishima, and those three have expanded into 34 designated national parks today.

A special exhibition running at Tokyo’s National Museum of Nature and Science until November 23rd looks at the various landscapes, environments, and creatures that represent these national parks through paintings, video content, natural specimens, and more. General admission to the event is 630 yen.

Getting there
