Miyashita Park Eats

Find a taste of home

Shibuya may be famous for neon lights and the myriad of eateries around the Shibuya Scramble Crossing side of the station. A visit to the other side of the station (exit B1), however, and you'll see a slightly quieter side to the busy city.

One addition to the ever-developing Shibuya station area is Miyashita Park which opened in July 2020. The rooftop park and shopping complex makes for a great day of shopping and sights—but did you know it also houses some great eats?

That’s right, foodies—it’s time to loosen your belt as you order from the many menus inside Miyashita Park. With recognizable names like Taco Bell, Jamba Juice, and Panda Express, your tastebuds will remember food from home while your stomach falls in love with new tastes from the likes of Eggslut, Kuro-Obi Ramen, and the Kit Kat Chocolatory.

Taco Bell (South Building 3F)

Who didn’t spend at least one college finals’ night at Taco Bell hunched over a crunchwrap supreme trying to cram in that bit of knowledge before the big test? If you have a need for cheap, fast faux Mexican food then this is the perfect stop for you. Enjoy its limited time menu items, like the pork quesarito—a delicious abomination of nacho cheese, cheddar cheese, and pulled pork.

Kuro-Obi Ramen (South Building 3F)

Another ramen place? This is not your run-of-the-mill Japanese ramen though. Kuro-Obi offers New York-style ramen with the works. Enjoy its chicken-based broth that packs a salty punch without being overpowering. For a real treat, arrive early (like, first one there at 11am) and order the wagyu ramen: topped with authentic A5 wagyu. The wagyu ramen is limited to only three servings a day!

Panda Express (South Building 3F)

Chinese food is in no short supply in Japan, it’s true—but some people might be craving a taste of Chinese-America at the ever-popular Panda Express. Tangy, crispy orange chicken or tender Mongolian pork with fresh vegetables over your choice of fried rice or chow mein. What’s not to love when you can get your fill of up to three main dishes for less than ¥2,000!

Eggslut (South Building 2F)

A funny name but a big taste. Eggslut serves delicious and fluffy egg sandwiches with all the tastes you might crave. Try the Fairfax sandwich with spicy sriracha mayo and melted cheese or the Japan-exclusive Route 20 sandwich with scrambled eggs and an over-medium egg atop a beef patty! Don’t forget the add-on toppings like bacon or avocado.

Kit Kat Chocolatory (South Building 2F)

Kit Kats have become slightly synonymous with Japanese sweets. Every year, Japan pushes out a range of limited flavors that are only available in Japan. At the Kit Kat Chocolatory in Miyashita Park, visitors can enjoy some of the finer flavors that Kit Kat offers, like ruby chocolate or raw cocoa. There’s also the My Kit Kat experience, where guests sign up for a workshop to create their own custom Kit Kats.
