Two decades after the release of the very first Like a Dragon game in 2005, fans will soon be able to step into the world of the long-running franchise as it celebrates its 20th anniversary with a special exhibition in Tokyo. Running from November 28th to December 22nd, 2025, the event will take place at BEAM Gallery in Shibuya.
Titled Like a Dragon – The Four Ceremonies of Life, the exhibition explores the human stories at the heart of the series through the theme of life's symbolic milestones. Visitors can experience scenes inspired by key moments from the games in immersive spaces that capture the emotion, growth, and cinematic flair that have defined the saga over the years.
Alongside the exhibits, guests can enjoy interactive displays, rare archival materials, and photo spots designed for fans. A range of limited-edition merchandise will also be available, including acrylic stands and clan-themed crested sake cups created especially for the event.
Timed-entry tickets are available through Lawson Ticket (L-code: 33121), and they start at 2,600 JPY for advance purchases. For longtime players and newcomers alike, this exhibition offers a unique opportunity to reflect on twenty years of storytelling, loyalty, and life in the world of Like a Dragon.
Side note: If you can't make it to the Tokyo leg of the event, the exhibition will also be held in Osaka from February 6th to February 24th, 2026, at the Osaka Nanko ATC Gallery. Please visit the official site for more information.
