KiddyLand building. Its actually five floors - 4 levels above ground and 1 underground.

Floor guide that will give you shivers of happiness when you find that they have (fill in your favorite character's name) stuff here!

Upon entering, the iconic Chibi Maruko-chan and friends greet you!

Nameko - the mushroom that is steadily gaining popularity in Japan.

The basement floor is dedicated to Snoopy and friends. Welcome to Snoopy Town!

Creative ways to infuse traditonal style into character goods! Some of the items are so beautiful, like the colours on these Snoopy handkerchiefs.

For the ladies! What better way to keep up with the fashion trends and satisfy your craving to be different?

New toys are always being introduced on hopes of being the next big thing.

Character mascots of Tokyo sold in various forms. They do sell the better known Kuma-Mon (Kumamoto's mascot) as well. Great stuff to buy as gifts, but can be a little pricey. Choose with caution.

Gachapon can be seen too, but not a wide variety. I was totally amazed when I spotted this Glass Mask (really old but currently ongoing shoujo manga) gachapon! Like me, you could find something totally unexpected here.

Miniature items are really popular in Japan. Time to get the set you couldn't find in your country!

Rilakkuma and Hello Kitty paradise on the highest floor. It's calling and I can't resist!

A name label sticker printing machine on the right. For the more popular characters and characters who take up major floor space, there's usually something extra like this machine.

Hello Kitty and Melody plushies you want to just squish when you see them for some odd reason.

Entire sets of miniature items are displayed to show customers what they are purchasing.

The 3rd floor is full of boys looking at the robots section and girls at the dolls section. Tamagotchi is on this floor too!

Zealous movements of the children’s hands that control the robots movements in hopes of winning each other.

Figurines galore! The fine details on them makes any collecter drool. Do note they cost a pretty penny though.

The Japanese equivalent of the American Barbie and Ken - meet Rika and family!

Ghibli stuff! All the items are really cool and very well crafted. Its not shown here but there was a special selection of Ghibli goods related to Japanese traditonal crafts as well, like Kotodama (from Mononoke Hime) wind chimes.

Disney-themed stationary section. They had a Princesses and Villains theme going on. Strangely I found the Villains' cards nicer.

Nanoblock often teams up with other company characters, like San-X, Disney, and popular manga Neon Genesis Evangelion, to create character nanoblocks. Great stuff to get to add to your collection of nanoblocks, as they are not often sold outside Japan.

KiddyLand - the name says it all, although it is Paradise for some adults as well. Popular Japanese character goods are generally sold on all five floors, with standard character merchandise (iPhone covers, hand phone accessories, stationaries and plushies) and the more interesting ones (character socks, Mickey Mouse steering-wheel covers and Superman logo stockings!). They also sell other items like umbrellas on the 1st floor, and the popular manga series One Piece and Star Wars merchandise on the 3rd floor. Gender won’t an issue here, with the 3rd floor carrying figures, Lego toys and robots that will steal any boy’s heart. KiddyLand is located along the main Omotesando road, on the same side as the Oriental Bazaar. Great place to buy souvenirs for everyone young and old!

I had so much fun shopping here the last time I visited Tokyo and I cannot wait to bring my sister here on my next trip. She loves everything cute and so do I so it will sure be a place she will enjoy.
