Jiyugaoka is well known as one of the most sought after neighborhoods to live in Tokyo. Located at the intersection of the Toyoko and Oimachi lines, this Meguro neighborhood has a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. A leisurely walk through the pedestrian friendly streets is a great way to spend an afternoon, as there are international restaurants, outdoor cafes, fashionable retail stores and great home décor (zakka) stores. Take a break and have a dessert, as Jiyugaoka is known for its sweets, including the Jiyugaoka Sweets Forest, renowned patisserie Mont St. Clair and Jiyugaoka Roll-ya for roll cakes.
