Sweets Forest is the ultimate destination for confectionery treats in Tokyo. The suburban area of Jiyugaoka houses a number of pastry shops but Sweets Forest stands out for its adorable collection of eight distinct restaurants in one place. From crepes and macaroons to cakes and candy, this dessert theme park really has it all to satisfy any sweet tooth. The prices are reasonable considering the high quality and care that goes into creating each delectable dessert. Take a walk around the entire floor and bask in the glory of all the treats that Sweets Forest has to offer. Willy Wonka would surely be jealous.

A confectionary dreamworld

Community writer

Jiyugaoka's Sweets Forest is a spectacular wonderland of confectionery treats.

To access: Jiyugaoka Station South Exit, walk turn right at the ticket gates and walk up the street. Make a left at Green Street and this sign will be on the left after about 4 minutes. Walk up to the second floor.

During the weekends Sweets Forest gets incredibly busy. Seating is available inside and outside.

The sweet treats are all a lovely sight to behold.

Here we see a sampling of some goodies from Natu Marche.

Of course the trees in Sweets Forest are pink!

Bubble tea can be purchased at Hong Kong Sweets.

Splendid strawberry mini cakes from Patissier Stage.

This adorable bear macaroon tower looks too cute to eat.

The pastry chefs at Sweets Forest take time to create every confection.

This choco-banana and almond crepe was such a treat and the perfect portion to share with a date.
