Tokyo's Jindai Botanical Gardens are home to a wide variety of beautiful blooms throughout the year, including roses, azaleas, and sakura. A little earlier in the year the grounds are home to an impressive 210 blossoming plum trees in 72 varieties, and they can be enjoyed from late January to late March.
A plum blossom festival is held at the gardens while the trees are at their best, and it includes other fun activities like music performances and food trucks on select days.
Admission to the venue is priced at 500 yen for adults, and 250 yen for children. Do note that the gardens are closed every Monday, or the following day if the Monday falls on a national holiday.
