Hotel Metropolitan Marunouchi

Tokyo at your feet

If you were to pick a spot in Tokyo that offered the best possible combination of business, tourism and transportation options, a room at the Hotel Metropolitan Marunouchi might be it.

Business travelers are able to entertain clients and/or get work done right on site thanks to the hotel’s beautiful and spacious lobby, computer-equipped business center, private meeting room, and excellent Tenqoo restaurant.

Tourists can use the hotel as a base for their travels near and far thanks to its central location next door to Tokyo Station. The Tokyo Tourist Information Center, where you can arrange sightseeing for the entire region, is just a stone’s throw from the hotel’s ground floor elevator doors. The Imperial Palace grounds, a popular spot for both photographers and joggers, are less than 10 minutes away on foot, as is Nihonbashi, the traditional geographical center of Japan. Intercity and local trains or busses to absolutely everywhere in the city and country can be reached in the immediate vicinity of the Hotel Metropolitan Marunouchi.

Check-in at the 27th-floor front desk is quick, and there is always English-speaking staff on hand. A ride in the hotel's windowed elevators up to the guest rooms is a spectacle, as the ceilingless lobby area stretches up to the 34th floor. As most of the other guest facilities look out over the city, this inside space is wide-open and impressive.

Corner rooms treat overnighters to views of Skytree to the northwest, Tokyo Tower to the south, Shinjuku skyscraper tops and parts of the Imperial Palace to the west, and Tokyo Station down below. Looking out your window is like looking at a topographical map of the city, and indeed the hotel provides guests with labeled diagrams of all there is to see. Early birds will not be disappointed by the sights of the rising sun and awakening metropolis.

Room amenities are what you would expect from a high-class hotel. There is a fridge with complimentary bottled water, mini-bar area stocked with glasses and ice bucket, large flat-screen TV (with on-demand movies priced at 1,000 yen), room slippers, toiletries and more. Comfortable beds come with extra pillows, bed-clothes to fit foreign bodies, and light and curtain/shade controls on the headboard (in selected rooms).

A stay at the Hotel Metropolitan Marunouchi will leave you feeling pampered.
