Running for over 30 years now, the Hokkaido Fair at Yoyogi is a multi-day event that brings some of the region's foodie favorites to Tokyo's Yoyogi Park. The prefecture is highly regarded for its food exports – especially its dairy products and seafood – and is the home of popular dishes like jingisukan (Genghis Khan lamb barbecue), soup curry, kaisendon (seafood rice bowls), and Hokkaido ramen.
A combination of well-known, established restaurants and under the radar hidden gems will be sharing a host of popular Hokkaido foods at the event, with the full lineup to be confirmed on the official website closer to the start date.
Admission to the event itself is free, but bring yen for your food purchases.
