Running from the last week of November right up until Christmas Day, the Azabudai Hills Christmas Market combines authentic holiday charm, international flavors, and vibrant performances to create a memorable and festive wintertime experience.
The market features 17 unique stalls, including eight first-time vendors. From handcrafted ornaments by Germany’s iconic Käthe Wohlfahrt to limited-edition sweets by Dolce & Gabbana x Fiasconaro, visitors to the event can discover an array of exclusive holiday goods. Whether you're looking for a gift for a friend, family member, co-worker, or just treating yourself, there are plenty of items to choose from.
Visitors can also participate in interactive activities like the "Christmas Hills" stamp rally, and snap photos amidst beautifully decorated gift boxes and glowing ornaments.
Foodies don't miss out, either. Some of the culinary highlights include French pot-au-feu by Dining 33, cheese fondue from Italian eatery Fiordimaso & Clandestino 41, and freshly baked pretzels and sausages from the German Christmas Stand.
Beyond the market, Azabudai Hills is adorned with a variety of decorations, including a sparkling fir tree sourced from Gunma Prefecture designed by lighting artist Hisaki Kato. Five lighting styles illuminate the tree, creating a warm, festive atmosphere. Visitors can also explore Christmas Street, a walkway connecting Kamiyacho Station Square and Tower Plaza, featuring themed photo spots, live balloon artist performances, and the chance for Santa meet-and-greets on select dates (November 24th, December 1st , 8th and 25th).
With its mix of festive shopping, tasty cuisine, holiday decor, and family-friendly activities, the Azabudai Hills Christmas Market helps to provide a dose of cheer for both locals and tourists alike. For more details, visit the official event website.
