As early as 5 o'clock in the morning, you will already see joggers and hikers of various ages enjoying a good exercise in Yahatayama Park. The mountain park projects a unique beauty with every change of the season. In spring time, the place turns pinkish-white with so many cherry-blossom trees around, creating a mesmerizing view. In autumn, the vivid contrast of the leaves and tree bark creates a magnificent combination. Green trees cover the place in summer. From the top of the park, you can look out over part of Suruga Ward in the southern part of Shizuoka City.
