On the fourth floor of the Shinkin Bank building about a kilometer south of Mishima Station, Sanshin Gallery Zen is a small gallery that holds free exhibitions, a different one each month. They display all kinds of art: paintings, ceramics, woodcarvings, origami, and plenty more besides. I always stop by for a few minutes when I'm in town, to enjoy the artworks and take in the restful atmosphere.
