Iris and Hydrangea Exhibition

A seasonal event at Kamosō Kachōen Garden Park

Irises and hydrangeas are two of rainy season's highlights in Japan, and Kamosō Kachōen Garden Park in Shizuoka celebrates both of these beautiful blooms. The event will showcase different varieties of the flowers, with the option to purchase plants too if you're a green thumb.

There's also an on-site cafe which is located within the exhibition greenhouse, allowing visitors to enjoy a meal or light refreshments whilst being surrounded by flowers.

Adult admission to the garden park is priced at 1500 yen.

Shizuoka's Kamosō Kachōen Garden Park is located around 15 minutes on foot from Harada Station, which is served by the Tenryū Hamanako Line. For those arriving at JR Kakegawa Station, it's around 20 minutes by taxi from there.

For those who opt to drive to the venue, it's located around 5 minutes (3 kilometers) from the Mori-Kakegawa IC on the Shin Tomei Expressway. Free on-site parking is available for up to 200 vehicles.
