That is why I want to be saved is the first large scale exhibition of Ken + Julia Yonetani in Japan. Ken and Julia Yonetani refer to these type of exhibitions as a survey show. These contemporary artists evoke environmental awareness in their unique art and sculptures. The exhibtion will be the first ever at the Edit and Art Gallery on the fourth floor of the new Kadokawa Culture Museum.

The exhibition starts on November 6th and runs until March 7th. It is on from 10 am to 6 pm on the days the museum is open. The museum is open daily from Wednesday to Monday, but generally closes on a Tuesday. However, in the opening month it is only taking one Tuesday off, the 17th of November. The December schedule is not yet available. Please check the latest calendar on the official site for the most up-to-date holiday announcements.

Getting there

By public transport: The Kadokawa Culture Museum at Tokorozawa Sakura Town is minutes walk from Higashi Tokorozawa Station.

By car: Parking is available, but it is charged. It costs 200 yen for 30 minutes, but capped at 600 yen on weekdays and 1800 yen on weekends.
