Balloon and Art Exhibition

A special event at the Saga Balloon Museum

Venue: Saga Balloon Museum When: Feb 11th - Mar 28th 2021

One of the biggest annual events on the Saga Prefecture calendar is their International Balloon Fiesta, where hot air balloons from both Japan and abroad fill the sky in early November. A special event at the Saga Balloon Museum celebrates this connection with an art exhibition focusing on balloon-related works.

There will be balloon-themed paintings by artist Kensuke Miyazaki, photographs of hot air balloons from Hideki Kuga (the official International Balloon Fiesta photographer), and more.

Adult admission to the event is priced at 500 yen.

Getting there

The Saga Balloon Museum is located around 15 minutes on foot from JR Saga Station, served by the Nagasaki Main Line. Taxis are also available from the station and can get you there in about 5 minutes if you'd rather not walk.

On-site parking is available for for up to 60 vehicles, and anyone who visits a paid exhibition at the museum can present their parking ticket to have it validated for 2 hours free.
