The Shibuya Fukuras building, which opened in November 2019, is the latest in a series of skyscrapers that are part of the Shibuya skyline and define the central cityscape.
The building, which is designed for both Japanese and international visitors, houses offices, retail stores (operated by Tokyu Plaza Shibuya), a bus station for local and airport buses, luggage storage rooms and tourism information facilities.
It is located in the Dogenzaka area of Shibuya and will be even more accessible thanks to the planned deck that will connect the Shibuya Fukuras skyscraper directly to Shibuya station in the future. With 18 above-ground and four underground floors, there is a lot to discover here!
Shibuya Fukuras's Shibuya-san Information centre doubles as an art centre that will not only impress the casual art lover, but also provides almost everything a tourist might need on their first trip to Tokyo.
Alongside its constantly changing art exhibitions, Shibuya-san houses services such as currency exchange, luggage storage and direct airport shuttle buses. Free tourist information is available in the form of friendly international staff that speak English, alongside various other languages, to help you during your visit.
Shibuya Fukuras has 69 stores from you to choose from and offers a wide array of shops selling home goods, clothing, accessories, souvenirs and more.
