Located some 15 minutes walking distance from Kaneyoshi Ryokan, the Sennichimae arcade is the Yin to Kuromon Ichiba’s Yang. With Kuromon arcade being about five minutes away and the best place for fresh fruit and vegetables in Osaka, Sennichimae Doguyasuji is a haven for kitchenware so the two go had in hand. From beautiful ceramics and glass to knives made with the upmost precision you’ll probably be able to find everything here you’d ever need for you kitchen. Shops range in price so looking around for the best deals may be very rewarding. Here you’ll also find those incredibly realistic plastic food displays on sale but if you’d rather eat your favourite meal then there is also a host of restaurants and cafés. With over 50 kitchenware stores it really is hard to leave empty handed.

Sennichimae Arcade
The Yin to Kuromon Ichiba's Yang

A Maneki Neko beckoning cat of such a size can only bring good fortune at Sennichimae arcade

When coming from Kuromon Ichiba, look out for this sign

I was tempted to buy an immortal replica of my favourite meal though I though not being able to eat it would drive me insane

Japanese knives truly are exquisite and Sennichimae arcade has a large number of stores to choose from

Just the sight of these replica foods is enough to work up an appetite

Some stores hold so much stock the though of entering a little frightening. Just look for the widest aisle

With so much choice making a purchase can sometimes be tough
