For a city of equal caliber to Tokyo, Osaka pleasantly surprised me with its relatively relaxed atmosphere, with the easygoing attitude of its people being quickly noticeable. A day would be enough to experience a little of what the city has to offer by night in terms of character, cuisine and lifestyle of its people. However, an extensive exploration of the city and everything it has to offer would take a few more days.
Your night out in Osaka could follow the sequence of the photos. Stroll down the sidewalks, view the skies turning vibrant hues, while the skyscrapers slowly begin to light up along with the massive LCD billboards that line their walls. Then grab a pizza from one of the many eateries that line the streets, followed by a stop for a glass of wine at a roadside wine bar (live music is free of charge!)
Next, head on over to one of the many night time hot spots the city has to offer. From karaoke bars to mainstream clubs, the choices are endless. End the night walking through the still busy city intersections, take a moment to take in the grandeur of everything. It makes you realize how small your worries really are!
