Onoyama Park is known as the venue of many big events but it is also home to what I deem the funnest playground in Japan. As a mom of two kids aged 3 and 5, we have made the rounds of many many playgrounds but this is by far, the biggest and most fun playground we have ever been. We spent a solid two hours here testing out all the bridges, and slides, and climbing places. Best of all, it is free.

The best children's playground in Naha, Okinawa

By Sherilyn Siy

You can spot this dragon themed playground from the monorail station. On the left side (partly out of the picture) is the longest slide I have ever seen.

The sections are connected by fun bridges.

No kid can resist this twisty slide.

Lots of sections to climb and explore.

The widest slide I have ever seen.

Inside the dragon's lair, children can test their climbing skills.

What's a playground without a sand pit?

Younger kids (aged 3-6) can enjoy this smaller play set.

That is awesome! Can children of all ages play?
Yes. Some areas are suitable for older kids and some for younger kids. There's definitely something for kids of all ages.
