Emerald Beach is located within the Ocean Expo Park on the Motobu Peninsula. Situated at the northern end of the Ocean Expo Park, Emerald Beach is a family friendly "Y" shaped coral sand beach separated into three sections: Playing, resting and viewing. True to its name, this beach offers a beautiful view of Motobu Peninsula's emerald green sea which contrasts with the white coral sand beach. Being a part of the Ocean Expo Park, this beach can get quite busy at times, but thanks to its three separate beach sections, it can easily accommodate the crowds. Parking at the Ocean Expo Park lots are free whether visiting Churaumai Aquarium or Emerald Beach. The beach is open April 1 through October 31, and is equipped with swimming nets, showers, toilets, lockers, a well stocked kiosk, a snack stand and also offers rental lounges from 1,000 yen. To access Emerald Beach by car, simply make your way to the Ocean Expo Park and use parking facility No. 9.

Nice beach!
Indeed it is, but it's best enjoyed during a high tide.

You gotta have beaches in Okinawa. Any idea what all the construction in the background was about? Lots of cranes there.
I can't quite remember exactly, but it definitely looked like accomodation.
