This summer, Japan's popular Komeda Coffee chain and its sister shop Okagean are inviting guests to enjoy a special Relax with Pokémon campaign. Running from July 24th through late August 2025, this limited-time event is perfect for visitors looking to combine Japan’s cafe culture with a fun Pokémon experience.
A number of special Pokémon-themed treats will be available, such as the Slowpoke Strawberry Chocolate Shiro Noir. It features Komeda Coffee's classic warm Danish pastry topped with pink strawberry chocolate sauce, soft serve ice cream, and fluffy marshmallow pieces.

For something savory, the Snorlax Salsa Chicken Cutlet Bread offers a satisfying sandwich with juicy chicken, spicy salsa, and crisp shredded cabbage, said to be inspired by Snorlax’s legendary appetite.

To cool off, try the Psyduck Mango Milk Ice, a fluffy kakigori (shaved ice) dessert served with sweet milk syrup and smooth mango sauce. Over at Okagean stores, the Rowlet Sesame Kishimen serves up cold, flat udon noodles with tofu and cucumber in a sesame sauce, which sounds like a refreshing choice for hot days.

When you order any of these dishes, you will receive a surprise Pokémon charm to take home, with seven types available (please note these are chosen at random). There is also exclusive merchandise, including a Poké Ball keychain made from Komeda’s classic sofa fabric. A social media campaign is also giving guests the chance to win more prizes by posting about their visit. A handful of Komeda stores across Japan will even feature special Pokémon decorations, creating a fun, photo-worthy stop on your travels.
