ANA Makes Family-Friendly Airline List at #7

Travel made simpler for those journeying with kids in tow

Being a parent or guardian changes how you see the world in many respects, and that often extends to how you pick an airline. Suddenly, the question isn't just who offers the cheapest fare or the fanciest lounge (although those can still be important considerations!) but who will make flying with a baby, a toddler, or an anxious tween just a little bit easier.

Recently, All Nippon Airways (ANA) secured seventh spot in Skytrax's 2025 ranking of the world's most family-friendly airlines, and for Japan travelers this is a point worth noting.

For infants under two, there are lap-seat fares and bassinets on many international routes, plus the option to bring approved car seats. At hubs like Narita, families find nursery rooms with changing tables and hot water, along with play areas to help kids burn off energy before flights.

Onboard, ANA offers special children’s meals, including organic baby food and allergen-free options created by chefs who are parents themselves. Older kids flying solo benefit from ANA's unaccompanied minor service, which provides extra support and peace of mind. Even small touches, like staff ready to help with strollers or reassure nervous young flyers, show that ANA understands what family travel really involves.

Even if you don't have children, ANA's dedication extends beyond families. They are Japan’s largest airline, serving numerous domestic and international destinations, and have a strong global reputation for quality. They've held Skytrax’s 5-Star Airline rating every year since 2013, reflecting excellence in everything from cabin cleanliness to the professionalism of its crews. In 2025, ANA also won awards for World's Best Airport Services and Best Airline Staff Service in Asia, underscoring a broad commitment to passenger care.
