At Taliesin Park, you can admire the view of the lake, hop in a boat or a skiff, take a walk through the rose garden or, if the kids are feeling like they need to let some energy off, you can head up to the mini-golf course and the go-kart track. There are cafes and restaurants for you to stop off at for a drink and something to eat, and also a souvenir shop, which sells some of Karuizawa's local delicacies. It's the perfect trip on a sunny day.
