The more senior guys are usually less active…

… they just relax.

The younger ones however are always up for something..…

… and sometimes even seem to try to talk to you.

Personal hygiene is most important and can lead to…

… deep relaxation.

You might be lucky to observe some hanky-panky...

...or to spot a Japanese serow.

Finally, when you get this look right before you leave, you know that you have to come back!

At Jigokudani Yaen-Koen (Hell's Valley Monkey Park) in Nagano Prefecture, you can observe the Japanese Snow Monkeys in their natural surroundings. Watch them taking a hot bath, going about their daily hygiene routines, looking for food, and playing with each other. It is a fascinating, up-close experience with some amazing animals.
