The Nagakura shrine in Karuizawa is just a ten-minute walk away from Nakakaruizawa train station. After exploring the Prince Shopping Plaza, the local wildlife on a Picchio eco-tour, and some of the Hoshino hot springs, why not go a little off the beaten track? This shrine is a beautiful insight to the older side of Karuizawa, and is the perfect place to sit down, find some peace and quiet, and take a break from a busy day of walking.
