High among the mountains of Mie prefecture, the Gozaisho Ropeway stretches over 2 kilometers of picturesque scenery. A ride on the ropeway is well worth the money, as the views from it are spectacular, even on a cloudy day. During the summer, the mountain offers a much needed respite from the muggy heat. During the winter, visitors can ski and enjoy the snow. The Gozaisho Ropeway is a must-see for those in the area.

Passengers ahead look back through the window

A man peeks under the clouds

The Gozaisho Ropeway floats over the mountainous area

The clouds surround the cable car

A little ways further, however, and the clouds clear!

Spanning a great gorge, some moments for those with a fear of heights can be a bit tense
