The other day I went to Kyoto and visited temples, shrines, and curious places like a tourist for the first time in my life! (I usually don't wander or stroll, and never do sightseeing, I just finish my job/errands and go home). To celebrate my debut as a tourist in Kyoto, I booked myself a spacious, pretty hotel. Relaxing space is important for an amateur tourist after a strenuous day's excursion, isn't it? The rooms of the Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto are all spacious, ranging from their standard single room (24㎡) to standard double (32㎡) / twin (36 - 48㎡) room (suite rooms are more spacious of course). Most importantly, hotel staff are well-trained and show top-quality manners/hospitality. Whenever I came back to the hotel three or four bellboys rushed to welcome me at the entrance, a rare phenomena, don't you think? Prices are reasonable considering the room size and service, and start at 10,000 yen (standard single room).
