There are two very lovely places to go for a stroll under the cherry blossoms on an evening in Kyoto. The first is the Takasegawa as it flows beside Kiyomachi Street. On one bank small restaurants are crowded right on the water's edge, and on the other bank, cherry trees and willows have been planted. The other spot is the canal beside Niomon-Dori, which will take you past Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art, and the National Museum of Modern Art. Both of these places are magical on a warm spring evening!

Kyoto is such a beautiful place to stroll around in the evening, and the sakura makes it even more gorgeous. I especially like your first photo of the restaurant - it really does look inviting!
