Getting off at Saga-Arashiyama Station to explore this scenic spot on the western outskirt of Kyoto was clearly something that I wish I had done earlier. The fresh air and the exceptional view of Hozu River really made my day! The area is especially popular during spring and autumn. Here you can either rent a private boat for two or have a boatman pilot one while you enjoy the beautiful scenery. You can also take a sightseeing boat ride tour. One way or another, the enchanting view of Hozu River would not fail to amaze you!
